I was curious to know whether my hardware store orchid really was a Burrageara Stefan Isler ‘Lava Flow’ — or more likely, whether my educated guess was accurate. The tag said simply, “Cambria”, and that it came from a place called Wooning in the Netherlands. So, I put Google to work and found the site, and send an email off into cyberspace — not really expecting a reply.
The next day, I received a personal email from the owner, Herbert Wooning. A couple of digital pictures later, and I had a positive identification, as well as some growing advice. Ain’t the internet grand???
