From a little acorn… then the rabbit ate it.


It’s February again, I notice my last post was February, 2014. It must be a winter thing. Anyway, here’s a beautiful time-lapse video of an acorn growing into an oak seedling over a period of 8 months. It reminds me of the late and lamented oak seedling that popped up in my garden this past summer. It didn’t take long before I was quoting Yosemite Sam: “Oooo!  Ya long eared, fur bearin’, flat-footed varmint!”
